2018 Tacoma

<p>Two engine options are available for the 2018 Tacoma. The SR and SR5 both offer either a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine or a 3.5-liter V-6. If you choose the SR's V-6, you'll also have a choice of automatic or manual transmission. The top four trims all come equipped with the V-6 engine and offer the same transmission choice, except for the Limited, which only comes as an automatic.</p>

<p>The 2018 Tacoma somehow manages to feel quiet and in-control whether you're driving on the highway or enjoying some of the best off-road capabilities for its class. It can also handle quite a bit of hauling and towing — up to 6,800 pounds with the bigger engine. Rear-wheel-drive comes standard on all but the TRD Pro, and while four-wheel-drive is also optional on all trims, the TRD Pro makes it standard.</p> <p>The TRD Pro is worth its own mention in terms of performance, as it really focuses on upgrades that will help you successfully handle the vehicle when off-roading, including TRD-tuned off-road suspension with 2.5-inch FOX Internal Bypass shocks, TRD-tuned front coil springs, multi-terrain select, and crawl control.</p>

<p>Sure, it's a truck, but the interior has some nice features to make your ride more comfortable, including supportive seats and more room in the back seat on the double cab. It also has several premium features that come standard such as Bluetooth, Entune Audio with a 6.1-inch touch screen, a backup camera, and even hardware on the windshield to hold your GoPro.</p>

<p>The Toyota Tacoma comes equipped with more safety features than other trucks in its class — and that's great news for everyone. New for 2018, the Tacoma includes the Toyota Safety Sense suite with automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and pedestrian detection. Additional driver-assistance features are also available such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.</p>
