2018 RAV4

All of the traditional gas-powered RAV4 models have a four-wheel drive 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine under the hood, bringing 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. They all also have an option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. There is a 15.9-gallon tank in each vehicle. Every hybrid model comes with 2.5-liter, four-cylinder ECVT hybrid engine under the hood, kicking it up to 194 horsepower. The gas tank shrinks slightly in the hybrid models, coming in at 14.8 gallons.

<p>These ultra-low emission vehicles are ready for anything an owner wants to do. The LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum have a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The towing capacity of the Adventure nearly doubles to 2,900 pounds. The SE does not have a towing capacity.</p> <p>The hybrid models also have towing capabilities. The LE Hybrid, XLE Hybrid, and Limited Hybrid have a towing capacity of 1,750 pounds. Like the traditional gas model, you are not able to tow anything with the SE Hybrid.</p>

<p>The RAV4 creates a comfortable environment for everyone. The LE has soft touch accents. The XLE adds in dual zone climate control with an air filter. SE owners enjoy a sport shift lever, floor mats, and door sill protectors. Limited drivers get to enjoy an eight-way adjustable seat with memory programming specific to each driver. Platinum owners enjoy platinum doorsill protectors. </p> <p>The stereo system in each is strong enough to keep everyone happy in traffic. The LE starts with the Entune system. The XLE adds navigation to the audio system, and the Limited adds in JBL audio with the Entune system. </p>

<p>Safety is as important as comfort in the RAV4. Every model has a federally mandated backup camera. They also have the Toyota Safety Sense-P system. The added feature in this system is the pedestrian alert system. XLE owners have the chance to add in a blind spot monitoring system and cross traffic alerts. Platinum owners have an added security bonus with the five-door smart key system. It also has a hands-free liftgate. The camera in this model receives an upgrade to a bird's eye view camera.</p>
